In 2022, Kirsten P. Seydelmann and Susann Richter-Funk committed themselves to a participatory region of Aalen.

After organising action periods in 2023 and 2024 with a wide variety of offers and a participatory conference as a central event on the main topic, the current 2025 design team is taking a slightly different approach.

We are asking ourselves how citizens view what is worth living in their city and where there is already commitment to this. Where do we as an urban society want to achieve even more in order to be and remain good for the future? And how do we manage to invite (even) more citizens to help shape and participate? To this end, we will be travelling to various events in 2025, as well as offering our own events to get people talking. A survey is our central element and will be offered in analogue and here in digital form.

The results will be presented at the city's Agenda Parliament on 13 October 2025 at 7 pm in the Paul-Ulmschneider-Saal of the VHS. The dialogue on further steps will also begin there with representatives of the local council and city administrations present.
