On behalf of Parliament, the TAB analyses the potential and impact of scientific and technological developments in a comprehensive and forward-looking manner and explores the associated social, economic and ecological opportunities and risks. On this basis, the need and possibilities for action are pointed out to the committees and members of the Bundestag.
