Abortion
We speculate that everyone is BOTH "Pro Life" to some extent, & "Pro Choice" to some extent. We think that if the issue is approached from an interest based perspective, like we do with our high conflict separated parents, the issue can be resolved.
In early October 2019, the founder of Canadian Co-Parenting Centres, decided to create a website to help groups of citizens identify what the general consensus was and then build on it. That evolved into an initiative to reform all of democracy in Canada. Now, we are exploring the possibility of resolving a particular issue, and we're choosing what is probably the most divisively entrenched issue that there is. One that previously seemed to have no prospect of being resolved. If we can figure out a process that enables society to resolve this issue, then that process can underpin a new democratic process in Canada, and we can get to work on resolving countless other issues in an effective, collaborative, and expedient manner. We the People of Canada is not registered as an organization, and in order to use adhocracy+ an organization was required, so he is utilizing CCPC in order to try out this software.

We speculate that everyone is BOTH "Pro Life" to some extent, & "Pro Choice" to some extent. The polarizing way that this issue has been framed for decades has probably not been helpful. We think that if the issue is approached from an interest based perspective, like we do with our high conflict separated parents, the issue can be resolved. We are trying out an approach of using a series of questions.

To start with, we want to identify what the thoughts and feelings are of a broad range of people. As we do this, we can establish the extent to which there is already consensus, and concurrently we can strive to increase the level of consensus. From there, we can determine what, if any, changes we collectively want to make to existing legislation and guidelines.
