More accessibility for adhocracy+
This year, we set out to tackle the accessibility of our software. We received a lot of input, such as from Dr. Irmhild Rogalla on the topic of "Accessible participation - how can we make democracy more inclusive" at our Liquid Tank in the first half of the year (https://liqd.net/de/academy/barrierefreie-beteiligung-wie-können-wir-demokratie-inklusiver-gestalten/) (German only). At the same time, we have also started to make initial improvements to our platforms.
n the last sprint, we were already able to implement some further developments for the accessibility of adhocracy+. Here, we put a focus on the operation with screen readers and made sure, for example, that the order for tabbing through the content is more logical and that the order of the headings matches the structure of the content. We also rebuilt our captcha to make it easier to use. A captcha is used to determine whether a human or machine is trying to register on the platform. In addition to the accessibility improvements, we have also released other enhancements. Here is an overview of all the new features in our latest release:
We wish you a lot of fun with the new features
