2026 Trends for Funded Projects
To pursue KR 3.3.2, the fundraising team would like to initiate this structured participation process to gather our swarm knowledge on noticable fundraising trends.
With our 2026 Strategy #1, Liquid Democracy pursues the goal of "establishing a data-informed understanding of fundraising trends and priorities that provides strategic orientation across the organization" (KR 3.3). This knowledge will provide us with priorities for the next strategy cycle and/ or the 2027 strategy cycle. It also helps the fundraising team to develop more attractive project proposals.
As part of this strategic goal, we would like to provide you with a clear and easy-to-use participation opportunity to contribute to our collection of fundraising trends.
In our daily lives, everyone of us comes across fundraising trends all the time, often without realizing it. For example, newsletters inform us of important societal challenges or events lead us to meet a new funder. We would love to get your insights into what trends you encounter across three main categories:
- Problem Definition: What do you see defined as a "problem"? How are "problems" defined?
- Solution Exploration: Which strategies, activities, and innovations come up as "solutions" to these problems?
- Funding & Financing: Are there any financing specific trends that you notice, i.e. new funders, programs, and instruments?
Accordingly, this participation project is made up of three brainstorming modules with helpful tags, one module for each category.
We are looking forward to your input!
